Do you have to buy replacement filters or do you clean the filter. If you have to buy them, how much to they cost and how often should they be replaced

The filters are replaceable indeed in the PurOxygen P500 Air Purifier.

You may purchase replacement filters by the link:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0833GL8HP (you'll need to change the colour of the item on the product page).

The filter needs to be replaced when the filter indicator turns red showing the poor air quality.

It is recommended to clean the filter once every 2 months. Expose the filter to direct sunlight for 1 to 3 hours or clean the surface with a vacuum cleaner.
We do not recommend washing the filter with water.

The lifespan of the filter mostly depends on the environment where the air purifier is used.

This way please don't worry that filters are currently out of stock, you'll be able to purchase a replacement one later as the originally installed filter will serve you much longer than a month or two.
